Getting Around (Transportation)

Miami is such a sprawling city that you’ll either need to rent a car or rely on taxis to explore. If you don’t want to rent a car, then Uber comes cheap if you plan on lingering in Miami Beach, Edgewater, or Downtown.Trolleys are open for the public in Miami but don’t count on them being punctual.

If you’re looking for a lift to Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, or South Miami, the Metrorail can take you on a $5 round trip from the center to the suburbs.

Safety
