Best Time to Visit Puerto Rico

Every month significant festivals and events are happening across the island, so don’t worry if it seems like you’re going on a vacation off-season because Puerto Rico welcomes you with open arms any time of  the year. Just be wary of the hurricane season that lasts from June to November.

Safety

Puerto Rico is considered one of the safest islands in the Caribbean. Overall, use safety measures that you would use when traveling at any place, and you’ll be good to go.

Getting Around/Transportation

For getting around the cities in Puerto Rico, you can use a bus. Although there isn’t an active across-island bus system, you can find buses that service different island areas. For other forms of transportation, you can use taxis, Uber, or Lyft. Renting a car is also available, but be aware that the traffic around big cities gets hectic and toll rates can get quite expensive.
